Welcome to the Spring Term in Year 2

In the first half of this term we will be learning about places around our world. We will learn the names of the five oceans and of the seven continents. We will be finding out all about China and studying their capital city of Beijing. We will learn about the Arctic and what it is like for humans and animals who live in the Arctic Circle. In P.E. we will be doing gymnastics and improving our balances, jumps and rolls. In art we will be painting and In D&T we will be preparing the ingredients we need to make soup. Watch this space for lots of pictures.

Mosque Visit

We walked to the local Mosque. The children were able to ask lots of questions and see the inside of the Mosque. The children listened well and were very respectful.
