Spring II

What a fantastic term! 

We followed our wonderful visit to the Paddington Bear exhibition at Tulle House by exploring more the adventures of the bear from deepest, darkest Peru! We soon decided that we would need to keep our own scrapbook (just like Paddington's!)

We have even written our very own Paddington Bear story...and as usual, Paddington gets into lots of trouble! 

In maths we have been focusing on symmetry and also 2D and 3D shapes, learning new vocabulary like 'vertices' to use when describing properties of shapes. We then looked more closely at fractions, learning about halves, quarters and thirds! 

We lucky enough to have two visiting PE coaches this term. Nick Rigg is teaching us multi-skills, and Fraser is building on the cricket skills he taught us last summer! 

This is a special year for Queen Elizabeth and so we have begun to learn about her amazing life, creating a timeline of key events, discovering some amazing new facts and raising some really interesting questions!
