This term we are adventurers!
We have been exploring Mount Everest and learning all about the achievements of Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay. We are sure your children have already told you all about it!
In Geography we have located the 7 continents and 5 oceans on a world map, looking closely at the area of Asia that holds Everest, comparing it with the UK.
Our knowledge of the area is being extended further in science by looking at the habitats of the animals living in such a cold region, learning about how the animals adapt to suit where they live.
In maths we have been multiplying and dividing in various ways and also working hard to learn the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
