What a great term!
Our focus so far has been on the Great Fire of London. We have really explored the event in detail and the children have really thrown themselves into the topic. We have some beautiful writing and artwork around the school about it.
In maths we have been focusing on money and multiplication. The children have been exploring making different amounts using a variety of coins and recognising the coins and their value. They have also been making equal groups of objects to solve multiplication problems, representing their answers in different ways.
In PE this term we are learning to move our bodies through dance and also exploring Tae Kwondo!
Of course we are now getting into the festive spirit! The decorations are beautiful around school, with each area having a real Christmas tree. We have revisited the story of the first Christmas and have rehearsed words and songs for a special performance at the end of term.
