The Governors of Inglewood Nursery and Infant School are seeking to appoint a Headteacher who is passionate about Nursery and Infant education and who has outstanding commitment and leadership skills for the position in our school from April 2026.

At Inglewood Nursery and Infant School, we believe "Everyone Matters". Our engaged and passionate staff work very hard to ensure that our school is a happy, safe and secure environment for everyone.

We are a successful school who provide for the range of pupils who attend and promote their well-being and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. We have a robust wraparound facility, catering for children from age 9 months to 7 years.

We are proud to work in partnership with our families to ensure that children thrive, achieve and enjoy their learning inside our well-resourced classrooms and outside in our amazing outdoor space. We have strong links with Inglewood Junior School.

Inglewood Community Nursery and Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.   The successful candidate will be appointed on the completion of an enhanced DBS check and receipt of professional references.

Closing date for applications is midday on Monday 29th December.

Shortlisting will take place on Wednesday 7th January. Only successful candidates will be contacted.  Interviews will take place on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January 2026 (2 day process)
