Maths

In Maths, we have found the different ways to make 10 and explored doubles when making butterfly prints.

English

In Drawing Club, we have read the text ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. We thought of describing words for the different characters in the story.  We have also enjoyed the tale ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ and joining in with the story language. 

Understanding the World

We celebrated David Attenborough’s 100^th Birthday and thought about the ways we can help our world.   We have enjoyed learning about mini-beasts and it was great fun going on a mini-beast hunt in the big garden and then making our own mini-beast habitat. 

Music

We have learnt new songs about mini-beasts and played different rhythms on percussion instruments with Mr Clarke.

PE

We have really enjoyed developing our travelling, balancing and agility skills in Action Ants.  Our favourite game has been ‘Messy Bedrooms’.
